Understand and minimize our own unique pain context

In the first 3 weeks we look at how the physiology of our brain, nervous system and body change when we're under chronic stressors - some of which you likely will not even have been aware have been present constantly throughout your life.


This is our own unique pain context... and this is an important step in shifting our protective brain, nervous system and body physiology so we can start minimizing the context in which our pain goes on alert mode!

Decondition pain triggers and change our pain physiology

The second phase takes 4 weeks and focuses on various methods of brain retraining and continuing to increase nervous system capacity. This phase includes making an activity based goal that feel achievable for yourself.


Our first step in achieving an activity based goal is to ensure our nervous system has the capacity to activate and deactivate as needed. Then we can see our pain protective system start to change. Trust me, by week 4 you'll be excited about getting active again!

Gradual exposure to reinforce new safety neural pathways

In the final phase we take whatever time we need to reach our activity goal. This set to take 5 weeks, but there's no pressure on time. Having a rigid timeline increases our pain context and by this point in the game your healing process has moved beyond that!
